You will be based in our Mumbai or Hong Kong office as part of the litigation & investigations group, reporting to the deputy general counsel for the Asia region. 

You’ll support the firm on global litigation, investigations and related matters including crisis management. You’ll work closely with senior firm and legal colleagues including communications, risk, compliance, IT, insurance and finance. 

The legal department is a diverse and dynamic team within our firm, which provides comprehensive legal services and broad risk management support to our firm’s leadership, consultants and support staff throughout the world.

DUTIES

You will manage a broad range of complex litigation matters, advising and counseling internal clients on litigation risk. You will provide counsel to consultants on a variety of legal issues related to litigation and investigations, including advice about the pros/cons of pursuing affirmative legal proceedings.

In this role, you will manage complex litigation matters including government investigations. This may involve overseeing outside counsel, developing budget and overall strategy, scoping internal fact-finding, ensuring compliance with document discovery obligations and preparing witnesses for external interviews and depositions.

You’ll also manage interactions with regulators and be responsible for driving internal investigations including disciplinary matters. You’ll advise internal clients on litigation risks and provide counsel on potential or threatened litigation, collaborating with the communications team on internal and external responses to litigation and investigative matters. 

You’ll identify process improvements for investigations and help develop resources and tools that help drive consistent implementation of our global investigations process to ensure timely and appropriate investigation management and reporting. You will partner with communications on internal and external responses to litigation and investigative matters. You will work closely with risk, IT, compliance and human resources colleagues to identify trends, flag developing risks and develop and implement appropriate mitigation plans. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent academic credentials
  • 8+ years of experience with an international law firm; in-house and/or regulatory experience with a focus on litigation

  • Government, prosecutorial experience and/or prior in-house experience is a plus

You will be based in one of our offices in Chennai, Gurugram, Montevideo, Prague, or San Jose as part of the Supplier Risk team within Optimize, S7Clear’s global procurement function that delivers distinctive, positive and productive experiences through various services ranging from travel, events, real estate, sourcing, technology, and purchasing.

The Supplier Risk team leads and oversees the firm’s global supplier risk management program. You will report to the Director of Supplier Risk and work cross-functionally with key stakeholders including Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance and IT as you support, shape and deliver on the firm’s supplier cybersecurity risk initiatives.

DUTIES

You will be responsible for mitigating supplier cybersecurity risks in the firm’s supplier onboarding process and across its supply base. You will ensure the robustness and efficiency of cyber controls in our end-to-end procurement lifecycle, while being able to balance cybersecurity requirements with supplier risk and business objectives.  

You will work closely with the One Firm Cybersecurity (OFCS) team to streamline and seamlessly integrate cyber assessments into our supplier onboarding process. You will deliver on and represent Optimize supplier cybersecurity priorities across the firm. You will assess and analyze supplier data and cybersecurity risks across our procurement processes.  

You will report on security compliance for suppliers, incidents, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs). You will proactively identify gaps and improvement opportunities and collaborate with other teams to problem solve viable solutions. You will propose functional process changes, controls and compliance measures as needed. You will gain alignment across teams and lead/support the implementation of agreed recommendations on behalf of the procurement team.   

You will foster and champion a “risk first” culture and create awareness across the firm on supplier cybersecurity risk topics. You will build rapport and develop trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and other risk teams that work on supplier and cybersecurity issues. You will be a subject matter expert and advise colleagues on cyber risk topics as they relate to supplier and procurement processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s/university degree required 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information security or related field  
  • Deep knowledge of cybersecurity policies, standards and best practices  
  • Experience in third-party risk management and/or procurement processes
  • Understanding of information security testing methods, including vulnerability assessments and penetration testing 
  • Experience implementing cyber processes and controls, including ongoing improvement opportunities

The Director, Global Procurement will be responsible for establishing a sourcing and procurement function within the Global Corporate Services (GCS) team at S7Clear. Core responsibilities will include analyzing the current landscape of sourcing and procurement, performing a comprehensive analysis of global spend, building relationships across a wide array of business stakeholders, and developing a procurement function in partnership with GCS and practice leadership that embraces Environmental, Social and Governance principles, delivers cost savings, eliminates waste, improves our risk and compliance posture, and improves service, quality, and collaboration with our suppliers. Over time, this role may lead and develop a team of procurement professionals. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct a thorough assessment of the company’s spend on direct and indirect goods and services and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assess the complete market for relevant goods and services including trends, forecasts, risks, geopolitical effects, and supplier profiling.
  • Define a fully comprehensive category strategy for indirect goods and services.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and avoidance that are attributable to the P&L
  • Develop working relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their sourcing and contracting needs, which they are accustomed to handling on their own.
  • Lead the negotiation and development of key contracts through the effective partnering with the supplier, Legal, and the business stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with internal legal, risk, governance, and privacy teams to balance sourcing and business priorities.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, supply management, or other related discipline with minimum 15 years of procurement experience
  • The ideal candidate must have previous experience in national and international procurement / sourcing activities with a record of leading change and cost reduction in cross-cultural environments.
  • Experience creating and/or growing, developing, and coaching a team of sourcing and procurement professionals.
  • The ideal candidate must have demonstrated history of successfully collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders who possess a high degree of autonomy.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of purchasing practices, policies, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, contract management, strategic sourcing practices and software vendor licensing models
  • Ability to analyze unstructured or imperfect data related to spend and identify insights and opportunities to pursue.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • Experience in a professional service firm environment
  • Experience incorporating ESG into the supplier base.
  • Industry certification in the procurement space such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Professional in Supplier Diversity (CPSD), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) qualification, or APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is a plus.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range is $160,000 to $275,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc. This role is based out of the S7Clear’s office, but candidates can work remotely anywhere in the US.
